Educational t<span>ext books</span> <span>on</span> <span>archaeological methodology</span> still <span>tend to</span> <span>classify, however</span>, <span>the third dimension</span> <span>primarily</span> <span>as a spatial attribute. But by moving out</span> of <span>this</span> <span>pragmatic</span> <span>definition, we will realize that the use</span> <span>of</span> <span>digital acquisition techniques</span>, which allow to <span>carry out</span> the analysis of <span>archaeological artifacts</span> <span>without tactile contact</span> <span>and with a high degree of detail, call for new skills of</span> <span>digital data acquisition and management. The results</span> <span>that can be obtained</span> may be innovative under several dimensions in comparison with what can be obtained by using <span>traditional techniques</span>.</span></p> ER -
