Abstract

The Valuesafe project, Vulnerability of Assets and Losses in Multirisk Evaluations: Satellite Data for Financial Estimation, aims to offer an
advanced solution for managing natural risks (seismic, geological, flooding)
affecting built assets.
The Valuesafe service is the result of an industrial and scientific synergy
between three leading companies, brought together in the RESILIA
consortium: S2R (Seismic Risk Reduction), a spin-off of the University
of Florence; NHAZCA (Natural Hazards Control and Assessment), a spinoff
of Sapienza University of Rome; and IntelligEarth, an innovative
startup also linked to Sapienza. The technological value of the initiative
is underscored by co-funding from the European Space Agency (ESA)
as part of the InCubed (Investing in Industrial Innovation) program,
aimed at promoting commercial innovation in the Earth observation
sector.
